- Suppport the co-design with tangata whenua of an evidence-based nationwide child wellbeing strategy that cements children's rights, including the rights of tamariki and rangatahi Maori under Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
- Ensure that legislation, policy and practice meet Aotearoa New Zealand’s human rights obligations under the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (UNCROC) and that the UNCROC’s recommendations are fully implemented.
- Work with marginalised children to uphold their rights.
- Improve and ensure that children have access to social services, focused on both early intervention and continued support, including adequate resourcing of and access to respite services for parents.
- Support by Māori, for Māori solutions, that enable tamariki to stay with whānau.

- Allocate $600 million into an independent mokopuna Māori care entity provided by Māori, for Māori, to Māori.
- This independent entity will also establish a partnership network across Māori organisations, hapū, and iwi, to ensure mokopuna Māori remain connected to their whakapapa.
